Sapore, offering artisanal oils and vinegars, opened over the weekend at 660 Pennsylvania Avenue, SE.
As DC's first fresh oil and vinegar specialty store, Sapore (the name is Italian for "taste" or "flavor") will feature 30 types of single varietal and flavor infused extra virgin olive oils and balsamic vinegars plus hourmet pastas, olives, sea salts, spice blends, accessories and cookbooks.
As a boutique culinary retail store, Sapore brings a specialty option to Capitol Hill that caters to growin consumer demand for pure, authentic, healthy foods.
Drop in for a sample! Customers will be able to try any of the varieties, which are displayed throughout the store.
